The DETECT & CONNECT research project is developing and testing a self-learning system that autonomously recognizes and interprets the needs of users (Detect).<\/em> Once the need has been identified, an ad hoc social network is used to search for and activate the most suitable aid provider from the extended individual environment (Connect).<\/em><\/p>
