The scope of SENSHOME is to use passive sensor networks in order to monitor and regulate room conditions (e.g. temperature, humidity, acoustics, \u2026) to improve comfort and wellbeing while at the same time having the possibility to recognize hazardous events of people in need. The overarching goal is to enable a self-determined, independent life for individuals on the autismn spectrum and ensure a high level of privacy. SENSHOME will bridge the gap between independent living and nursing homes to support involved user groups, especially primary end users, which are not able to live by themselves but do not require constant care either. More specifically, we aim to infer the persons\u2019 status by means of centralized architectures that collect data from a set of sensors deployed in their living environment.<\/p>
