Antibes, France – From June 16 to 18, members of the SITAR team attended the renowned fib Symposium 2025, which took place in the picturesque coastal town of Antibes. The conference, entitled “Concrete Structures: Extend Lifespan, Limit Impacts”, brought together leading experts, researchers and industry professionals from around the world to discuss innovative approaches to concrete construction.
One of the highlights of the symposium was a special session organized by the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) entitled “Climate-friendly Transition of the Concrete Construction Industry: Challenges and Possibilities”. With 15 presentations in the amphitheater hall of the Congress Palace, this session was one of the longest and most comprehensive of the conference. CUAS and UNIUD (University of Udine) contributed significantly to this special sessionwith two presentations each.
The fib Symposium 2025 provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and networking and reaffirmed the SITAR team’s commitment to supporting the construction industry in adopting more sustainable approaches. As the industry continues to evolve, events like this play a crucial role in shaping a greener future.
