The main objective of the organization of Short-term training events (3D VET teacher workshops) within the project is to educate teachers to be in line with modern technologies and to be able to transfer their knowledge to the students. Education of VET teachers is one of the main preconditions for the modernization of VET schools. Two 3D VET Teachers workshops will be organized in Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Villach, because of its wide expertise in modern technologies. The third 3D VET Teachers workshops will be held in METRIS, Pula, R&D center of the Region of Istria.

During the intensive 4-day workshops, the representatives of the University will present the following topics to the teachers:

• Advanced Modeling, Simulation, Engineering and Optimization Techniques in 3DTech
• Methods and tools to develop customized 3D Printing Technologies and Materials
• 3DTech Market, Business Models and 3D Innovation Management
• Quality Management, Characterization Methods, and Standards in 3DTech3D Printing and Innovation Management: Possible Business Models
