The main objective of the organization of Short-term training events (3D VET teacher workshops) within the project is to educate teachers to be in line with modern technologies and to be able to transfer their knowledge to the students. Education of VET teachers is one of the main preconditions for the modernization of VET schools. Two 3D VET Teachers workshops will be organized in Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Villach, because of its wide expertise in modern technologies. The third 3D VET Teachers workshops will be held in METRIS, Pula, R&D center of the Region of Istria.

During the second intensive 4-day workshop, these topics will be presented to the participants:

• How Sensors will improve the quality of 3D Tech
• 3D Printing and structural robustness
• The Role of 3D Printing in Industry 4.0
• 3D Printing Applications in Mechanical Engineering and Transmission Drive Systems
