TEIN4C:
The Role of Citizens of Border Regions for the Future of Europe
Despite the sometimes conflictual past, cross-border cooperation and intercultural engagement have become part of the everyday lives of many citizens in border regions.
The Transfrontier Euro-Institute Network (TEIN) has set itself the task of supporting and developing these positive developments in border regions. The current project consists of five fora that will take place between 2018 and 2020 in five border regions within the European Union.
The purpose of these forums is to enable citizens to deepen their understanding of the EU, as well as express their views on current EU trends and policy-making.
The forum with focus on the border region Carinthia / Slovenia will take place in October 2019.
