ICEB was established by combining the efforts, expertise and capabilities of three pre-existing work groups (departments) of Carinthia University of Applied Sciences:
1) CoNNA: Construction Needs Nature
2) MCA: Management of Conservation Areas
3) SIENA: Spatial Informatics for Environmental Applications

These departments span 2 faculties: Engineering & IT and Architecture, Civil Engineering & Sustainable Real Estate Management.
This enables ICEB to access to cutting-edge capabilities, infrastructure and expertise in several key disciplines centered around the topics of sustainability, global change and green transition. A unique partnership with the biomedical branch of CUAS located at the Gesundheitscampus in Klagenfurt allows ICEB to operate and co-develop laboratory infrastructure for genetic and environmental analysis.Gib hier deinen Absatz ein
